The Zion Artist Market will be held in the Zion parking lot, Saturday, October 2, 2021. We are looking for artists selling handcrafted art and craft items only! Pictures of your work must be submitted with application. Deadline to apply has been extended to June 15, 2021


Zion is thrilled to be having our Artist Market during Ferndale Pride! Ferndale’s annual Pride festival provides tons of fun, celebration, amazing performers and tons of unique events throughout the day in downtown Ferndale.

Participation is subject to approval. We will be accepting handcrafted items only. You must submit 5 digital photos that best represent the work you plan to sell.

 

Date: October 2, 2021

Time: 10am - 3pm (set up starts at 8am)

Cost: $50 per space -  No payment is due at this time. Applicants will receive an acceptance email at which point payment is due and payment instructions will be given. 

 

Payment must be made within 30 days of application approval or your reservation will be cancelled. No refunds after July 1st. If the event is cancelled by us, we will refund your payment.

Spacing and Set-up

Market spaces are approximately 10x10ft. 

 

Canopy tents are no longer required to participate, however, is strongly suggested that shops have a 10x10 ft. canopy tent to protect merchandise from the elements. If this is your first time purchasing a canopy tent to use at arts and craft shows and you plan on making it a regular thing, you may want to go with a white canopy. Shows often will require white to participate.  

Zion Lutheran Church is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage.

A note about the weather: In case of rain secure your booth against the elements. Zion Lutheran Church is not responsible for any damage to any part of your booth or your merchandise. Vendors are fully responsible for protection of their property and for securing their tents and displays.

We provide 1 table, measuring approximately 6 feet long by 30 inches wide, and two chairs per space. You may bring additional tables if needed.

 

We do not provide electricity. Be prepared to supply your own…. get creative!

Portable generators and cell phone power banks are a great way to power your booth and can be purchased on Amazon.com.

There is no onsite WIFI.  Please make sure you have your own internet connection.

The Day of the Market

The hours of the craft show are from 10 - 3pm.  Vendors will set up between 8-10am. If your space is not occupied by 10:30am, and we have not heard from you that you are coming late, your space will be forfeited. If you cannot make the market, you must let the show coordinators know, vendors may NOT find their own substitutes. Sub-leasing a space is prohibited. 

 

Vendors must be able to get all their items from their vehicle to their show space independently. All booth items must fit within the size of space that you are assigned.  You are responsible for making sure all items and people working in your booth can fit in your space without invading other booths or the aisle. Tables must be staffed at all times. We ask that you do not begin packing up until the show closes. 

Collection of any sales tax is the vendor’s responsibility.


COVID - 19 Safety
We will comply with all state and local government regulations regarding COVID safety.  Masks must be worn at all times. Please be aware there may be limited shoppers due to the COVID pandemic.
