Non-Perishable and not expired donations only. Please contact us.

After considerable review, our food pantry has been revised and updated. We now have two ways for you to receive food.
1. After registration you may choose to receive two pre-packed bags of food. These include a wide variety of foods, including meat, and also the opportunity to choose paper products, cleaning supplies, spices and condiments.
2. Your second option is to fill out a shopping list and we will pack your requested items. It's a good way for us to give you just what you need and want. You also have the same option of picking paper products, cleaning supplies, spices and condiments. The next month's shopping list is also available for you to take home and fill out. If you email us your list before the next distribution date, we will have your bags all packed and ready for you.
We do try to have some fresh produce and/or frozen vegetables in limited quantities.

Volunteers are needed every third Tuesday (9:00-10:30am) and Wednesday (8:30-10:30am) to help with monthly preparation and distribution.
Here are a few ways you can participate:
Tuesday - Help with the food order that is received from Gleaners including stocking the shelves and packing bags to be ready for distribution.
Wednesday - Help register recipients and carry food to recipients' vehicles.
These are just a few ways to help. If you are interested in volunteering, please come and we will guide you through our process. If training is needed, you will be guided on what to do. All help is appreciated, no matter how large or small.
If you should have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact us.
Donate Now!
Zion Food Pantry is operational strictly from monetary contributions from the Zion congregation and occasional outside business and organizations donations. It is not a funded item included in the church budget. For decades Zion Food Pantry has been ministering their outreach to the local community surrounding Zion.
Monetary donations submitted to Zion must be designated for "Food Pantry" use. Food item donations are also gratefully accepted. We are prayerful that 2023 will hold consistent support to fulfill this ministry.
